Is cash still widely used?
Yes. Kosovo uses the euro but its payment infrastructure is limited. Outside a handful of modern restaurants and hotels in Pristina, cash is required for virtually all transactions — local restaurants, transport, markets, and guesthouses.
ATMs and withdrawing cash
ATMs are available in Pristina and larger towns. ProCredit Bank and Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo machines accept foreign cards.
