Is cash still widely used?
Yes. Despite mobile money (Orange Money, MTN Mobile Money) being hugely popular among Ivorians, foreign visitors rely primarily on CFA franc cash. Abidjan has some card acceptance at upscale hotels and restaurants, but cash is required everywhere else.
